Message from Hauppauge Public Library
WhenToWork.com message from Jill Kenyon at Hauppauge Public Library forwarded at your request.
We were recently made aware of a text-based phishing attack that uses the Library’s identity. A picture of what the text looks like can be found on our website at this link: hauppaugelibrary.org/2018/12/unauthorized-text-messages/. The Library does not send out texts offering prizes. We ask you ignore these texts as they are not from us. Most carriers have instructions on how to block and report these unwanted messages. Please contact them for more information. We are working to investigate how this happened and to prevent it from continuing.
If you have any further questions, please see Matt or Jill.
