The Hauppauge Public Library has immediate openings for reliable, detail-oriented and helpful individuals to join our staff as Part-time Operations Specialists.
Job responsibilities include: sorting and shelving library materials, maintaining order and accuracy of shelved items, preparing and breaking down room setups, assisting in programs, light cleaning duties and other tasks as assigned.
This position involves standing, reaching, bending and lifting not to exceed 50 pounds.
Schedule will include weekdays, weekends and holidays. Must be available to work between 9am – 5pm weekdays. Starting salary: $12.00 an hour
